Alpha Testing Updates
In January and February, we opened up the resource platform we had been working on for alpha testing to see how students may interact with it. And gratefully, we were able to find some server issues that could cause user inconvenience for Christian club leaders. So we got up on our feet and rolled up our sleeves to fix and update the site. While our site is still very much functional for our club leaders, we are hoping to debut an updated version of our resource site for a beta release soon.
What’s ahead in April
The Seven Words on the Cross
Whether you call it Holy Week or Passion Week, the week before Easter is a special time, especially for Christian clubs. To help them encounter the immeasurable depth of the Lord's love on the Cross, we are releasing a Bible study that they can use to meditate on Jesus' seven words on the Cross from the Gospels. We hope this study will enable student-led Christian clubs to relive the passion of Jesus Christ and experience his great sacrifice. After the Holy Week meeting, club leaders will announce a special invitation for unchurched students.
Easter Invitation for Unchurched Students
All Christian clubs with Christianclubs.org will invite unchurched club members to a local church for Easter. Club leaders will invite unchurched members to their own churches and offer rides to bring them to an Easter Sunday service. This way, our Christian clubs will serve as a bridge from high schools to churches. Please pray that unchurched students would take the courage to step into the Lord's church and experience the joy and the power of the resurrection this Easter.
